Private Landlord Licensing Scheme
Making it a legal requirement for Landlords to obtain licenses on some of their private rented properties.Selective licensing
Requires landlords letting a property on specific roads to get a license no matter how many people rent the property.Additional licensing
Requires landlords across the borough who let a property, of any number of stories, occupied by at least 3 people, who do not make up a single household to get a licence.Mandatory licensing
This scheme covers houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) with 3 or more stories and are occupied by 5 or more people with at least two households. This is regulated under the Housing Act 2004 and has been in force since 2006Willmotts are working with our landlords who own property across Hammersmith and Fulham, to obtain these licenses on their behalf.
